Even in the face of a challenging scenario in the global photovoltaic sector, marked by overcapacity and pressure on prices in the production chain, DMEGC Solar announced impressive results in its 2025 half-yearly report.

In the period from January to June, the company achieved revenue of ¥11,936 billion (approximately US$1,66 billion), a growth of 24,75% compared to the same period last year, and net profit of ¥1,02 billion (approximately US$142 million), an increase of 58,94%.

Both revenue and profit maintained a rapid pace of expansion, in contrast to the so-called “photovoltaic winter” that still impacts the sector globally.

Highlight for the photovoltaic segment

The solar sector remains one of the company's pillars:

  • Revenue from photovoltaic products: ¥8,054 billion (US$1,12 billion), growth of 36,58%.
  • Shipment volume: 13,4 GW, an increase of over 65%.
  • Gross margin: increase from 11,41% to 16,70%.

According to the company, these figures were achieved thanks to a strategy based on product and market differentiation. Currently, DMEGC Solar offers five categories of standard double-glazed modules and nine lines focused on special applications—such as full-black modules, greenhouse systems, anti-reflective modules, floating modules, high-transparency modules, hail-resistant modules, dust-resistant modules, simplified installation modules, and ultralight modules.
