No Electrical Technician Day, celebrated this Saturday (9), it is important to recognize the vital role of these professionals in the expansion of the solar energy market in Brazil.

After all, do you know what role this professional plays in contributing to the development of photovoltaic projects?

Electrical technicians play crucial roles in the implementation of renewable energy systems, from planning, safety, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems.

These professionals are involved in the sizing of photovoltaic systems, follow strict safety protocols and carry out performance tests to avoid future problems, protecting the systems and their users.

Electrical Technician Day: can professionals sign PV projects?

Furthermore, it is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of solar systems, identifying and resolving faults before they compromise operations.

To Joao Paulo Rodrigues, electrical engineering technician at CS Consulting, this is a key professional in the solar energy sector.

“With their knowledge, an electrician can successfully operate and maintain a solar plant, since in many cases the equipment has problems and defects that need repair. These repairs can be avoided with preventive maintenance carried out by an electrician,” he explains.

In addition to enabling energy production, this professional also contributes to the advancement of sustainability. Rodrigues also emphasizes that being an electrical engineer means leaving a legacy where everyone can do their part to make the world an increasingly better place to live and enjoy its riches and reduce the damage done to nature over the years.
