A Elgin, a manufacturer and distributor of photovoltaic equipment and provider of solutions in the areas of air conditioning, refrigeration, lighting, automation and sewing, opened um new distribution center to meet the demand for solar energy projects in Brazil.

Located in the city of Jundiaí (SP), the The site has a stock capacity for more than half a million photovoltaic panels, in addition to supporting the production and assembly of other solar kit equipment, such as inverters, metal structures, cabling and other components. 

with 27 thousand square meters, the new structure has a shipping space, with 21 docks and daily capacity for approximately 40 large vehicles.

O The site also has administrative areas, which include meeting rooms and corporate environments.

The project also includes the implementation of a training space from the solar technical area, where the company will offer face-to-face training for integrators partners, free of charge and with certification. 

The objective is to extend the online training program offered by Elgin to an in-person format, which in 2022 trained more than a thousand professionals in the sector.

Elgin Expectations

According to Elgin, the new The company's venture is expected to generate near 50 new positions direct and indirect of work until the end of the year.

According to Glauco Santos, director of Elgin's Solar Energy division, the inauguration is aligned with the group's growth strategy for the coming years.

“With the new structure, it will be possible to improve the flow of supply and service to our customers, in addition to optimizing other processes involved in the operation and consequently benefiting our integrators.” he explains.
