If before the PROFESSIONALS registered and compliant with the Confea/Crea and Mútua System they even had 60 minutes so they can pre-access the standards of the ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards), Now that deadline no longer exists.

This is because the entities signed an agreement, last Wednesday (28), so that time is unlimited from now on. O agreement will cover also AMN standards (Mercosul Standardization Association).

“This is a partnership that, if started at Confea and ABNT, reaches the end, completely benefiting the professional. The engineer who is in the field walks with the ABNT standard under his arm and, at these times, he remembers that Confea is here to be his partner”, said the president of Confea, Vinicius Marchese.

Em 2023, ABNT website recorded 242.193 hours of standards preview. It was a increase of 544% compared to 2022.

For those who want to go beyond the preview and have access to the standard for printing, purchasing the standards has a 66,6% discount for professionals who are compliant with Crea. They are also entitled to purchase ABNT courses with a 50% discount.

I think it's absurd that technical standards, which you are OBLIGED to follow, are not made publicly available and free of charge.
