Eneva has moved forward with negotiations to acquire the TermoLinhares project after CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) approved, without restrictions, the purchase of Rio Doce Geração de Energia by the company. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday (22).
The target company holds a preliminary environmental license for the construction of a natural gas-fired thermoelectric power plant in the municipality of Linhares, in Espírito Santo, with a planned installed capacity of 2.100 MW.
In a statement, Eneva said the transaction creates value by incorporating an asset aligned with its business strategy, expanding future growth options.
