Despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the solar industry and the global economy in general, solar energy has proven resilient around the world and in Brazil it has been no different. The expansion of the photovoltaic source in Brazil has attracted several players in the sector and has gained the loyalty of companies already operating in the country. Among them, the inverter manufacturer Growatt.

The company told the Canal Solar will launch a new generation single-phase inverter in the country later this year. The MIN10KTL-X model will be distributed in partnership with Aldo Solar and will be available from May.

“We will continue to provide high-quality products and services to Brazilians and with such a comprehensive range of photovoltaic inverter solutions, we aim to become the No. 1 inverter brand for distributed solar power generation in Brazil,” Lisa Zhang, Director of Growatt marketing.

In addition to the new single-phase inverter model, Growatt has added to its product offerings the MAC 15-36KTL3-XL inverter which is tailor-made for three-phase solar PV application at 220 V in Brazil.

Brazilian market

Despite the pandemic, Growatt reached the top in the second half of 2020. According to the latest report released by Greener, a Brazilian research and consulting company, the manufacturer ranked first among inverter brands for shipments of residential photovoltaic inverters in Brazil. “We would like to thank all of our partners for their contributions to this achievement in Brazil,” said Lisa Zhang, Marketing Director at Growatt.

Zhang also attributed the success to the significant increase in the company's investments in Brazil in recent years. “Committed to the development of solar energy in Brazil, we set up a technical support center in São Paulo and one in Maringá and built a much stronger local team to provide differentiated customer service.”

The inverter is good but Growatt's technical support has to beg for assistance.
Whenever I need support, I look for Solar Soluções de Ourinhos-SP
