Helius Sunlink PV has announced the launch of the Helius Ares line-up, incorporating Back Contact N-Type (BC N-Type) technology. The products, featuring enhanced design and high efficiency, were officially showcased and launched at Intersolar Middle East 2025 in Dubai.

The module's distinguishing feature is the use of BC cells, whose electrical contacts are located on the rear of the cell. With this change, which eliminates the busbars on the front, it is possible to maximize the use of sunlight and reduce optical losses.

According to company, the minimalist design enhances aesthetics without compromising the panel's efficiency and quality, making it an ideal choice for projects that require cutting-edge technology, high performance and little visual interference. As a result, the module's efficiency reaches up to 24,1%.

“Helius Ares represents an evolution in several aspects of our product family. When we launched the N-Type modules, efficiency had already increased significantly. However, through our R&D team we knew that we could go further and achieve even greater efficiencies,” said Eduard Krummenauer, Country Manager at Helius.

“With this new technology, we were able to surpass efficiency and reach 24,1%. With the contacts on the back, the face of the panel is clean, drawing attention to its minimalist design, in addition to, of course, bringing improvements in efficiency,” he highlighted.

Check out the other advantages of Helius Ares below:

  • Better performance under shading due to the absence of frontal contacts that cause optical losses;
  • Improved temperature coefficient (-0,26%/℃), ensuring greater thermal stability;
  • Low degradation over the years, with ≤ 1% in the first year and ≤ 0,35% per year from the second to the thirtieth year;
  • High resistance to microcracks: with busbars and welds on the back of the module, there is a reduction in additional stresses due to impacts and vibrations during transportation.

Launches at fairs and events around the world

Helius Sunlink PV highlighted that it has a full calendar of participations in trade shows around the world. Juliana Colling and Yasmin Del Vecchio – from the Brazil Marketing team, responsible for the manufacturer's stand projects – commented that the company strives to participate in trade shows and business events on all continents because they know that these moments are essential for growth and innovation in the solar sector, in addition to the essential connections for the expansion of the brand.

“Our challenge is to design spaces that provide our teams with functional flows to present Helius products and differentials, hold meetings and sign contracts, and of course, position the brand in an attractive way, always considering the culture of each country,” emphasized Juliana.

“Bringing the Helius Ares to Brazil is strategic: the moment is right to showcase our 20-year history of technological innovations and reaffirm the brand’s global reliability, in addition to, of course, bringing this minimalist product to our market that increasingly values beauty combined with functionality,” he concluded.

The Helius Ares module will be available in monofacial and bifacial versions on the world market, meeting different applications and market needs. The panel with BC technology will be part of the manufacturer's stand at Intersolar South America 2025, which will take place between August 26th and 28th at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. The stand is G4-60.
