A RGE dealership, that is part do CPFL Energia Group, reported which finished the installation a plant de generation de energy solar na Association Hospital de Marau, inside the Rio Grande do Sul.
At the site, more than R$419 were invested to ensure that the health unit generates clean energy and saves around R$40 per month on the electricity bill.
According to RGE, 124 450 W photovoltaic modules, a 40 kW inverter and structure for them were installed. Regarding the manufacturers of the equipment, the distributor informed that it will not disclose the brands, as they would have been chosen directly by the customer.
With the installation of the technology, the hospital will be able to allocate the amount saved with electricity for other hospital purposes, for the benefit of patients and employees.
The action is part of the Program GER in Hospitals, which aims to modernize the lighting system of healthcare institutions in the distributor's concession area.
Currently, RGE is responsible for distributing 65% of the electrical energy consumed in Rio Grande do Sul and serving around 3 million customers in 381 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul.
