A Hoymiles expanded its presence in the energy storage market in Latin America by signing a strategic agreement with Mexican company Skysense.

The signing of the contract was attended by representatives from both sides, including Enrique Garduno Olivas, CEO of Skysense; Luis Manuel Becerra Lucatero, CTO of the company; Guy Rong, vice president of Hoymiles; and Leo Zhu, director for Latin America of the manufacturer.

This partnership will combine the companies’ advantages in technological expertise and market resources to drive the development of the storage sector in the LATAM region, especially in Brazil and Mexico.

As Mexico consolidates its presence in the Latin American solar sector, Hoymiles noted that it has secured over 60% market share in microinverters through localized services and technological advantages.

At the event, the company showcased its high-performance microinverters, such as the single-phase HMS series, three-phase HMT series and the latest 8-in-1 three-phase MiT, as well as energy storage products including the single-phase hybrid inverter HYS and the all-in-one battery storage system HoyUltra.

Hoymiles was also invited to the exhibition forum to have in-depth exchanges with local industry experts and insiders. Luis Hernandez, the company’s Regional Sales Manager, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Maximizing the Potential of BESS Systems: A Comprehensive Solution for the Mexican Energy Market.”

The presentation detailed the manufacturer's advanced technology in designing and optimizing battery storage systems, emphasizing how the company maximizes ROI for customers through efficient solutions.

Hoymiles targets leadership in Mexico and Latin America

Hoymiles also highlighted its expansion strategy for Mexico and Latin America. The company stated that, through strategic partnerships with important local storage companies, it intends to consolidate its leadership in the Mexican market and accelerate its presence throughout the region, reinforcing its internationalization trajectory.

“The company’s next step is to become a leading player in the energy storage market for Latin America – just as we are with microinverters – especially for Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, where we plan to open our office in the coming months and hire a local team focused on BEES systems,” highlighted Debora Garcez, LATAM marketing manager at Hoymiles.
