JA Solar launches video with tips on how to protect your investment in PV systems

A JA Solar is launching a new video in Portuguese called “Protect your Investment”, with tips for how to choose solar panels through a quality pyramid.

“Due to the operating time of the modules (more than 25 years), it is extremely important to buyer escape the flood of low quality and/or false power module brands that are invading Brazil,” said the company.

In JA Solar's view, it is It is essential to choose panels from manufacturers that have all quality certifications, guaranteeing the promised energy, good financial health to support the customer and the product during its more than 25 years of useful life.

In addition to ensuring local presence with an engineering team, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorizations), sales and technical support in the event of problems.

According to the company, of the 150 existing manufacturers, 39 are listed in the Bloomberg T1 financial ranking, 35 were certified by the PVEL laboratory, six have quality certification by the RETC laboratory and only four have AAA certification by PVTech.

One in every six panels sold in 2022 is JA

In 2022, JA Solar's module shipments totaled more than 40 GW, a 16% share of the global share, i.e. in every six solar panels sold last year, one was from the brand. The survey was carried out based on data from S&P Global, specialized in market research.

According to JA, last year there was a 181% increase in shipments to the country, compared to 2021. The company has been operating in Brazil since 2015, being attracted by the diversified energy matrix and Brazilian market potential.
