A Evolve Free, a company formed by partners Evolua Energia and Trinity, announced João Paulo Campos as CEO of the company. Evolve Free was recently created to expand the operations of both companies in the retail energy market.

Campos holds a degree in economics with specializations in finance, energy and corporate governance. His career includes a long career at the Cemig Group., where he worked in several areas, such as corporate finance, business development and equity management.

He participated in the creation and management of Cemig Soluções Inteligentes (Cemig SIM), where he played an important role, for four years, in the development of operations and implementation of solutions.

“We want to offer a product that is simple, easy to understand and that generates noticeable savings for our customers,” he says.

“I also see the importance of creating a customer experience based on respect and proximity, with the goal of taking the Evolua brand and energy to the entire country. We will go beyond a simple discount on the energy bill,” he adds.

One of the executive's main challenges is the intense competition in the free energy market. To overcome it, Campos intends to focus on innovation and differentiation, optimizing the synergy between Evolua Livre and its shareholders, taking advantage of Trinity's experience and reputation in the free wholesale energy market and the widespread sales force of Evolua Energia (GD).

“This strategic alignment, bringing the best of shareholders to the operation, will allow for optimization in energy purchases and will help create a competitive and high value-added offer for customers, placing the company in a prominent position in the sector,” he points out.
