The MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) has set a deadline of October 31st for submitting declarations of need to purchase electricity in the Existing Energy Auctions A-1, A-2 and A-3, scheduled for November 14th, 2025.

The measure was published in Normative Ordinance No. 107/2025, and submission must be made exclusively through the CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber) platform.

The auctions aim to contract energy from projects already in operation, with a staggered start of supply: 2026 (A-1), 2027 (A-2) and 2028 (A-3). Representatives of any generating source are eligible to participate and will be able to negotiate. CCEAR (Energy Commercialization Contracts in the Regulated Environment), in the quantity modality and without monetary adjustment.

The CCEE has announced that only users with an "Auction Participant" profile will be able to access the submission interface. Companies that do not yet have this access must request permission through their legal representative or the CCEE itself. Additional documents, reservations, or conditions outside the system will not be accepted.

“The declarations are fundamental for the formalization of contracts and must be treated with complete confidentiality until the end of the process,” highlighted the CCEE in note.
