O average price in the international market of Mono PERC and bifacial photovoltaic modules with TOPCon and HJT technology (heterojunction) has remained unchanged for over a month and at the lowest prices of the year.

This is what data from the youngest show weekly newsletter from InfoLink Consulting, which aims to measure the behavior and fluctuations in the costs of the main inputs and products in the global photovoltaic chain.

According to the consultancy, the average price of these solar panels has remained stable in the last few weeks after consecutive reductions recorded mainly throughout the first half of 2024.

The average price for purchasing Mono PERC modules between January and the third week of August accumulates a 20% drop: from $0,125/W to the current $0,10/W.

The cheapest value found by the consultancy in the global market was US$ 0,08/W last week, while the most expensive was US$ 0,25/W.

In the case of bifacial modules with technology TOPCon, cost fell 15,3% in the period. The average value that reached US$ 0,13/W in January is now being sold at US$ 11,00/W.

On the international market, costs for this product range from US$ 0,09/W to US$ 0,33/W depending on the manufacturer.

The price of HTJ photovoltaic panels accounts for a drop of 21,8% in 2024, having been reduced from US$0,16/W in January to US$0,125/W last week.

According to InfoLink Consulting, unlike the other two types of modules, the HJT panel did not show significant price fluctuations between the main manufacturers, being sold for practically the same price by all of them.
