FINAME code is misused in BYD photovoltaic kit proposal

Company clarifies that products that claim to be national are in fact imported, or with lower potency

A BYD Brazil issued, this Tuesday (12), a statement stating that the photovoltaic kit proposals with 550 W BYD modules registered with Finame are false. The manufacturer also informed the Canal Solar that families currently produced with Finam codes They come in powers of 445 W, 450 W, 455 W and 530 W, 535 W and 540 W.

“Unfortunately, some integration companies have acted illegally and irresponsibly, violating the rules determined by BNDES, using the Finame BYD code for projects that use imported modules,” said the company in a statement.

“This practice has been denounced very frequently by BYD’s partners and there is already a joint effort between banking entities, associations and manufacturers, aimed at identifying and penalizing offenders”, they highlighted.

The company advises partners that, when finding proposals that include imported panels using the code BYD Finame, contact us immediately to take appropriate measures.
