The photovoltaic module manufacturer Risen Energy will begin, in January 2022, large-scale production of 660 W panels in mono and bifacial versions. The information was given to the Canal Solar by Ricardo Marchezini, the company's country manager, during the Intersolar South America 2021.
During the three-day event, the company showcased its portfolio of modules, highlighted by the 700 W board, which features N-type technology. “The technological evolution of panels is growing a lot. And we, in this case, are following the market”, said Marchezini.
According to him, this equipment has an efficiency of 22,5%, measures 2384 x 1303 x 35 mm and weighs 35 kg. Furthermore, it is based on 210 mm monocrystalline cells with N-type technology, with multiple buses (multi-busbar) and half-cell design.
Another characteristic is that the panel has an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 47,17 V, short-circuit current (Isc) of 18,53 A, maximum power voltage (Vmp) of 39,64 V and maximum power current maximum (Imp) of 17,68 A. According to the executive, the product will also be available next year, probably in the second half of the year.
Batteries
Another point highlighted by Risen's country manager is that the company has energy storage solutions in its portfolio. “For the national market, we have mono and bifacial, low and high power modules and also the battery part”.
“For some it may be new, but we have had it for a long time, four, five years. We have battery banks for homes, businesses, industries and utilities. Today we have several projects, not only in manufacturing, but also in operation. We have in production, for example, a utility battery bank project of approximately 200 MWh”, he commented.
