A neoenergy, in partnership with Lactact (Research and Technology and Innovation Center), opened o Laboratory de Interoperability e Connectivity – Multiprotocols, located at Curitiba (PR).
The new laboratory is specialised em tests that follow the Wi-SUN/FAN and PLC/Prime specifications — communication technologies that connect devices into networks field with low energy consumption, efficiency and reliability
Furthermore, the space was designed specifically for the transmission de data de smart meters through the electrical grid.
The project is the result of a PID project (Research, Development and Innovation Program) of the company, regulated by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), and carried out in partnership with Lactec.
Neoenergia's PDI works as a networked innovation hub. The following participate: 27 companies of which five are distributors, five are generators and 17 transmitters.
Os projects developed within the scope of the Neoenergia PDI have brought together, in recent years, more than 1.400 researchers and more than 70 technology partners between science and technology institutes, universities, industries, startups and technology-based companies.
O electric sector national now has a dedicated center to the realization of tests em smart meters of energy, playing a fundamental role in ensure an communication standardized between equipment several manufacturers.
“The laboratory contributes to boost a innovation technological with a focus on expansion the electrical networks intelligent. Neoenergia is a leader in innovation, through the RDI Program regulated by ANEEL, developing technologies that are inserted into the market and contribute to the modernization of the Brazilian electricity sector”, highlights José Brito, R&D manager at Neoenergia.
