Article was produced and adapted from technical materials provided by Solis

Solis' (215-255)K-EHV-5G line of inverters has the capacity for up to 28 photovoltaic string connections, with 14 independent MPPTs.

Furthermore, due to their high input current, the inverters in this line support “Y” type connections on the DC side (with two parallel strings), in addition to being compatible with bifacial modules with powers from 500 W.

They have a maximum input voltage of 1500V and a nominal mains output voltage of 800 V.

Other features of this line of inverters are:

  • Maximum efficiency of 99%;
  • With IP66 degree of protection;
  • Compatibility with aluminum cables;
  • Fuse-free design;
  • 150% DC/AC ratio;
  • Type II overvoltage protection on both sides (DC and AC);
  • Night SVG function;
  • Remote firmware update;
  • High power tracking density;
  • Communication via PLC (optional);
