The Brazilian market witnessed, in the first quarter of 2023, the expansion of the portfolio of the photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Solis, which presented new features in its product line.
The company has integrated into its product catalog on-grid inverters with module compatibility up to 700 W, solutions for power plants on soil and inverters with storage power.
According to the company, the objective of the launches is to offer new technologies, which aim to modernity and better efficiency for the Brazilian photovoltaic energy market.
In its new portfolio, Solis presents a line designed exclusively for Brazil, the Solis-(50-75)K-LV-5G-PRO line has inverters of 50 kW, 60 kW and 75 kW with output voltage at 220 v.
According to the company, the highlight is the 75 kW power, ideal product for installations that want to maximize the productivity of the photovoltaic system at the limit of microgeneration.
“The 220V output voltage of the inverters eliminates the need for transformers in many regions of Brazil, simplifying installations and reducing costs”, pointed out the manufacturer.
The new line has a minimum overload of 50% and 40 A input current, which allows modules with power above 600 W to be connected to one or more inverter inputs via MPPT.
All inverters in the new line have safety features, such as AFCI (protection against electric arcs), DPS (surge protection device) type II and individual string monitoring, allowing greater reliability in operation and efficiency in O&M.
Inverters for energy storage systems
For energy storage systems, new launches include off-grid, hybrid and retrofit inverters. All models already have approval from Inmetro and can be sold on the national market.
According to the manufacturer, its inverters can be used by customers who wish to upgrade an on-grid installation to a hybrid system, allowing the battery to be charged from the electricity grid along with a traditional on-grid inverter.
For single-phase networks, Solis supplies inverters in the S6-EH1P(3-6)KL-EU line for residential applications at 220 V and with 48 V batteries. For three-phase networks, the S6-EH3P(5-10)KH line -EU at 380V can be used with battery banks of up to 600V.
The S6 line of hybrid inverters offers the possibility of connecting up to six inverters in parallel. This connection makes it possible to build storage systems with greater capacity and supply loads with greater energy demands and for a longer period of time.
Solutions for photovoltaic plants
The manufacturer also launched a string inverter, the S6-GU350K-EHV, with a nominal output power of 350 kW, nominal operating voltage of 800 Vac and 1500 V for photovoltaic strings, intended for distributed minigeneration or generation plant systems. centralized.
“Two models of the S6-GU350k-EHV will be made available for the Brazilian market, with 12 and 16 mppts each. Each mppt has two inputs, eliminating the use of fuses during installation and is compatible with all 600W+ modules found on the market”, informed the company.
With an IP66 degree of protection and a high level of corrosion protection (C5), it allows the model to operate with high performance in environments with extremes of temperature, humidity, salinity or atmospheric pollution.
