Manufacturer Solis announced that its new line of S5 inverters will be sold from November in the catalog of distributor Amara NZero. The products that will enter the company's portfolio are part of the three-phase line, which operate at low voltage with 380V and 220V.

According to the company, the equipment purchased excludes the use of transformers with 15 kW, 20 kW, 25 kW, 30 kW, 50 kW and 60 kW. “Solis inverters are a renowned brand in the renewable energy sector.”

“In our portfolio, it will allow the assembly of new product kits, often reducing the number of inverters in a project, and the non-acquisition of a transformer, allowing greater competitiveness in relation to prices”, points out Felipe Cunha, commercial director at Amara.

The two three-phase inverter models have overload level over 50%, except the 75 kW – 380 V model which supports 70% overload. Also according to the company, the new models are compatible with high-power modules such as 600W or 700W.

Furthermore, the 37.5 kW inverter is also available in the portfolio, manufactured to operate on 220 V networks, which supports up to 70% DC overload and provides 75 kW of output power when using two units in parallel.

Brand differences

Amara NZero also highlights the differences that were decisive in choosing Solis in the catalogue. One of them is the use of features like AFCI (arc flash protection), ensuring greater security for integrators and end customers.

The manufacturer's warehouse, located in Campinas (SP), was another point highlighted by Marina Dias, pre-sales engineer at Solis. “In the warehouse there are several exclusive inverters for exchange and use if the warranty is activated, and if the distributor does not have the model in stock, quick service and replacement will take place, to prevent the customer from losing money or energy generation”, he comments. she.

The engineer ends by highlighting the seven year inverter warranty through the manufacturer, and can reach 10, 15 or 20 years of extension through purchases with the distributor.
