A SSM Solar do Brazil launched the new carport on ZM310 steel, which, according to the company, lacks additional treatment after manufacturing and is 10 times more resistant to corrosion.

“Instead of coming with pure zinc in the material, ZM310 also comes with aluminum e magnesium. In other words, it will last longer in the environment it is exposed to,” he said. Marcelo Pereira, technical engineer responsible for SSM Solar do Brasil.

"That chemical compost helps improve performance. When you have a cut in the material or a fracture and you start to have corrosion, this composition will start to coat the material,” he explained.

According to him, magnesium and zinc themselves will cover o material to not let it corrode. "That increases considerably to durability in relation to the common steel we have on the market”.

“So, this coating of ZM310 steel that is made in the factory has a productive process a lot more very detailed and manages to maintain constancy, linearity in the process. This makes it much more aesthetically pleasing, clearer and more transparent and you will have fewer imperfections in the galvanization of the material”, highlighted Pereira.

See below, other features from ZM310:

  • 30 year warranty;
  • Greater ease of installation;
  • Advanced corrosion protection;
  • No need for additional treatment.
