Episode #128 of the Papo Solar Podcast will air this Tuesday (29) on YouTube do Canal Solar in a discussion about the growth of storage systems to boost the solar energy sector in Brazil.
With the special participation of Leandro Alvares, Executive Director, and André Ribeiro, Operations Manager at Powersafe, the chat will address the role of batteries as energy solutions.
Additionally, the episode provides insight into the challenges faced by the market, such as flow reversal, and how the storage can solve this problem.
Don't miss this conversation with insights into the future of solar from industry experts!

I have an off-grid system. There are four 630 W panels, a 3 kVA Grovat hybrid inverter and a Unicoba lithium battery. There are two freezers and a refrigerator.
home lighting and ceiling fans.
It has the operator's wire connected. As soon as it gets light, it automatically disconnects from the operator. If it's a sunny day, you can use an air fryer, an electric oven, or even a window air conditioner. It can't exceed 3000 watts.
In the event of a power outage from the operator, it works with these loads all night and when the sun comes out, it charges the battery again.
When there are not many loads connected, what is generated is injected into the grid.
On a sunny day with little consumption, it injects around three kW.
I don't know about other inverters, but this Growatt is very good. If I were to do it again, I would buy the 5 kVA one.
Now I want to make a rainwater storage plant with an electric pump to be self-sufficient.
There is no doubt that the hybrid system with energy storage via batteries is the most technically and economically intelligent solution to avoid the infamous and controversial flow reversal. The zero grid system is a waste of energy when it comes to the solar generation potential of a given location. The federal government is about to hold a bidding process to contract solar projects with energy storage.
