The Latin American solar energy and storage market is undergoing a period of transformation, marked by the growth of the C&I (Commercial and Industrial) segment and increased demand for solutions that guarantee efficiency and reliability in increasingly complex electrical networks.
With this in mind, TBEA has been expanding its regional portfolio with technologies specifically designed for the region's technical and logistical challenges. Its presence at Intersolar South America highlighted its commercial strategy for the Latin American market.

According to the company, the focus is on combining safety, adaptability and performance on a large scale, in order to support energy operators in accelerating the transition to renewable sources.
Advances include high-power inverters and integrated inverter-transformer solutions, which reduce logistics costs, improve O&M (Operation and Maintenance) efficiency, and expand compatibility with different types of grids.
The TS330KTL-HV-C1 model, for example, is designed to maintain reliability in high-temperature environments, while the 8,8 MW skid combines robustness, ease of transport and conversion efficiency of over 99%.
According to the manufacturer, the storage has been consolidating itself as one of the pillars of the strategy of TBEA for the region. ESS with grid formation, based on millisecond-level synchronization and string-based failure modularity, is aimed at large-scale plants that require greater resilience.
The integrated DC/AC ESS with liquid cooling offers rapid deployment, smaller footprint, and stability in weak networks, one of the major challenges of Latin American infrastructure.
In the commercial and industrial market, TBEA invests in integrated solutions that connect solar generation and storage in the same ecosystem.
The TS150K-TA11 inverter, with six MPPTs and advanced AFCI protection, illustrates this strategy by offering 98,8% energy efficiency and greater safety for consumers looking to reduce costs and increase electrical autonomy.
For Antonio Marcos Salgueiro, TBEA's GM for Latin America, the key lies in adapting to the regulatory and infrastructure specificities of each country.
"Latin America is experiencing a decisive moment in the energy transition, and Brazil plays a central role in this process. We are committed to working hand-in-hand with local partners and adapting our solutions to the specific regulations of each market, delivering systems optimized for different grid conditions and helping our customers throughout the region achieve sustainable growth and better returns on their projects," the executive emphasizes.
Market outlook
The focus on tailor-made solutions reflects TBEA's perception that the growth of solar energy in the region will increasingly depend on the integration of generation and storage, as well as the ability to adapt global technologies to local realities.
"By combining applied engineering, regional knowledge, and strategic partnerships, TBEA seeks to establish itself as one of the leading providers of PV+storage solutions in Latin America," adds Salgueiro.
