As solar PV installations continue to grow, advancing microinverter technology becomes essential to maximize power conversion performance (DC>AC), improve safety, reduce complexity, failure rates, and optimize system investment.

In 2024, the adhesion to micro and mini distributed generation systems of electric energy in Brazil installed 9,23 GW, with more than 1,1 million new consumer units receiving credit through the photovoltaic source, according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

In this context of sector expansion, Tsuness Co., Ltd. stands out by offering differentiated solutions that aim to meet this growing demand for more efficient and safe systems.

With a constant focus on innovation, the manufacturer seeks to provide its customers with advanced technologies that not only optimize the performance of photovoltaic systems, but also guarantee maximum reliability and cost-benefit, consolidating itself as a reference.

With a strong presence in the development of high-power MLPE solutions, TSUNESS innovates once again, bringing to Brazil its new series of GEN3 Microinverters (6 Modules) single-phase 220 V.

In this article, I highlight the main benefits and technological innovations that drive this series.

Advanced architecture and versatile design

Utilizing unique advanced architecture with versatile and modular design, TSUNESS microinverters offer a cost-effective solution with maximized performance. The 100% aluminum housing enhances durability, heat dissipation and performance in all scenarios.

High output power (3,3 kW) and module-level monitoring

With input for 6 independent modules and output power of up to 3,3kW, these microinverters have exceptional power generation capacity. Module-level monitoring simplifies system maintenance, providing greater control and ease of operation.

Maximum DC input 60V

The new GEN3 series (6 Modules) works with a maximum voltage of 60Vdc, ensuring maximum system safety. By always operating within the safety voltage range, the need for additional safety devices such as AFCI (Arc Fault Interrupter), RSD (Rapid Shutdown) and DC protection boxes (string-box) is eliminated. The starting voltage of 16 V is very low and maximizes power generation at the beginning and end of the day.

New Communication Options

Meeting new market demands, the GEN3 series microinverters (6 Modules) now also offer RS485 communication. This communication option makes the system more stable for Zero Grid projects and commercial and industrial rooftops. Options: (1) Wi-Fi (2) Wi-Fi + RS485 (3) RS485

Two cabling solutions

In Brazil, we offer two cabling configurations: Daisy Chain and Trunk Cable. The Daisy Chain solution allows the connection of multiple microinverters, each equipped with a 3,75m AC output cable.

This Plug-and-Play design simplifies installation, reduces the number of connections/connectors and reduces installation time. The Trunk Cable version has the advantage of being cheaper and allows the integrator to customize the trunk cable to the project dimensions more easily. All AC connectors have IP68 protection level.

High frequency isolation for safety and reliability

Incorporating high-frequency isolation technology, the microinverter reduces leakage current, increasing both safety and operational reliability. This architecture ensures system and user protection, in compliance with residential, commercial and industrial safety standards.

Compatibility with high-power photovoltaic modules

All equipment in this series supports a maximum current of 18A per input and 20A short-circuit, in accordance with Inmetro 515/2023, thus allowing compatibility with 700W+ photovoltaic modules.

It is very important to highlight that in this new series with 01 single photovoltaic module the microinverter already starts operating, unlike the previous version TSOL-MP3000, which due to its topology had a higher internal voltage to start.

All TSUNESS microinverters have IP67 protection level, a 15-year warranty and comply with the latest Inmetro 515/2023 ordinance.

Available from March 2025 at TSUNESS distributors. And, in a few months, this line will also be available in the three-phase 220/380V version (2,5kW to 3,3kW).
