A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will hold an auction this Friday (31), starting at 10 am, for the expansion of the Brazilian electric sector infrastructure.
The auction, which is expected to generate around R$ 5,53 billion, will offer concessions for the construction and operation of new electricity transmission lines in various regions of the country.
According to ANEELThe projects include 1.081 kilometers of new high-voltage lines, sectioning systems, and 2.000 MW of transformation capacity, in addition to seven synchronous compensation systems.
According to the tender notice, the maximum RAP (Annual Permitted Revenue) for all lots offered in the bidding process is approximately R$ 937 million.
The routes will be distributed across the states of Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Paraná, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, and São Paulo.
The timeframe for completion of the works may vary from 42 to 60 months, with an operational period between August 2029 and February 2030.
