ANEEL will discuss Celesc's tariffs; proposal foresees an average readjustment of 11,77% starting in August.

A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will hold a public hearing next Thursday (18), in Florianópolis (SC), to present the proposal for Periodic Tariff Review of Celesc (Centrais Elétricas de Santa Catarina SA)

The distributor is responsible for supplying energy to approximately 3,5 million consumer units in Santa Catarina. The proposal under analysis foresees an average increase of 11,77% in the concessionaire's tariffs.

For residential consumers (class B1), the proposed adjustment is 9,36%, while for captive consumers served at low voltage, the projected increase is 9,32%, and for high-voltage consumers, the adjustment under analysis is 16,91%.

The hearing is part of Public Consultation No. 14/2026, which will remain open for contributions until July 13. "The objective of the hearing is to provide consumers with the opportunity to learn about and comment on the tariff review of the concessionaire," informed the [organization/organization]. ANEEL.

After analyzing the contributions received, the Agency's board will define the final rates that will be applied to Celesc consumers' energy bills starting August 22nd. In 2026 alone, the ANEEL It has already approved tariff adjustments for 16 energy distributors, impacting approximately 50 million consumer units in different regions of the country. If the proposal is confirmed, consumers served by Celesc will be included in this list starting in August.
