ANEEL begins inspection campaign for plants under construction

Agency selected 73 projects, totaling 3.116,05 MW of granted power

A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) began the Inspection Campaign for Plants with CUST (Transmission System Usage Contract) signed and no works started.

According to the Agency, inspection actions will be carried out throughout the first half of 1 and the selected companies will be notified later this month.

The campaign’s actions will feature the participation of ARCE (Regulatory Agency of the State of Ceará) and the ARPE (Pernambuco Regulatory Agency).

The first phase of the campaign, which began in January, consisted of identifying projects that have a contractual commitment to the transmission system until the end of 2022 and that have not started work.

The selection criteria followed the following:

  • Works not started;
  • Installation license issued;
  • Deadline established in the grant to begin commercial operations by the beginning of 2023;
  • CUST concluded and the MUST (Amount for Use of the Transmission System) begins until December 31, 2022.

Based on the indicated criteria, 73 projects were selected, totaling 3.116,05 MW of granted power. Inspection is a responsibility carried out by the SFG (Superintendency of Supervision of Generation Services).
