A Canadian Solar will increase your manufacturing capacity until the end of first quarter of 2024. The expansion foresees increases of 30 GW in the production of Ingots quality wafers, of 40,2 GW in cells and 42,8 GW in modules.

As a result, the company's manufacturing capacity will increase in less than a year and a half from 20,4 GW to 50,4 GW in ingots; from 20 GW to 50 GW on wafers; from 19,8 GW to 60 GW in cells, and from 32,2 GW to 75 GW in modules, as shown in the image below:

“All of our new capacity additions for 2023 and 2024 will be on the latest N-type technology, allowing us to better meet strong market demand and accelerate growth,” said Shawn Qu, president and CEO of Canadian Solar.

The executive also highlighted that the company's business plans serve to strengthen the brand's position not only in end markets, but also throughout the supply chain. “By increasing the level of vertical integration, we continue to improve our control over technology, raw material sources and costs,” he highlighted.
