A Manufacturer de modules photovoltaic Canadian Solar launched or “Partners”, SCHEDULE de volunteer jobs. returned to incentive à donation de hours de day for the company to act as volunteer em partner NGOs.

With launch do Partners, each collaborator of Canadian may donate to 16h of your journey de day acting , the volunteer.

According to the company, the objective of the new program is to increase social engagement and is in accordance with the ESG agenda, which integrates the company's main values.

“It is very gratifying to launch Partners, our corporate volunteering program, to encourage the participation of our employees in voluntary actions”, said Pedro Alves, general manager Latam at Canadian Solar.

“The company's main objectives are to promote and support the culture of service and social engagement of employees, who will be able to put their knowledge and skills at the service of the prosperity of society, in which Canadian Solar operates, on several fronts aligned with the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), defined by the UN (United Nations) in 2015”, comments Alves.

The first NGO selected by Canadian was CEAP (Centro Educacional Assistencial Profissionalizador), which annually offers free training and professional qualification courses to around 1,1 young people between 10 and 18 years old who are in a situation of social vulnerability. In 2022, Canadian allocated R$100 for the maintenance of the NGO. Still in the first quarter of this year, the company donated a 65,97 kW photovoltaic system to CEAP, with a 30 kW CIS inverter and another 25 kW inverter, in addition to 145 branded 455 W modules.

The global company also donated the financing for the installation of the system that will contribute to a significant impact on the NGO's energy consumption savings.

“It was an immense joy to participate in the launch of Partners, Canadian’s volunteer program. We know that the transformation we dream for the world passes through the hands of each one of us”, comments Gustavo Pena, director of Institutional Development at CEAP.

For the director, it was a privilege to count on Canadian and its collaborators “to train honest young people, through the human and professional training offered by CEAP”.

“The investment of financial resources, time, intelligence and, especially, of each person, gives us more energy to generate even more opportunities and impact. I thank Canadian for truly contributing to CEAP and for her genuine commitment to changing people’s lives”, celebrates Pena.

Through Professional Mentoring, Canadian employees will be able to provide career development for each CEAP student, in addition to technical lectures.

They will also be able to contribute by helping with the organization and evaluation panel of the NGO's Science Fair, held annually in November.

In addition to these fronts, Canadian will also participate in the blood donation campaign in partnership with Hospital Sírio Libanês on Blood Donor Day, in November.

“Being a volunteer means gaining an extra meaning in life, it means believing that I can make a difference in people's lives, it means receiving the gift of affection from students and realizing what it really means to work as a team with a common noble goal. Above all, it is living love”, said Rodrigo Oliveira, Site Coordinator at Canadian Solar
