Santa's house in Ipatinga (MG) will be lit with solar energy

Santa's House, in Ipanema Park, in Ipatinga (MG), will be supplied with solar energy, for the first time in history.

The system, made up of eight modules and a generator, was designed to ensure the energy self-sufficiency of the little house, providing energy savings and greater comfort for visitors, with the installation of air conditioning as a novelty. 

Furthermore, the generator will allow the structure to function even in the event of a power outage in the city.

The project, led by Multiluz Solar in partnership with the Ipatinga Department of Culture, Sports and Leisure, highlights the use of renewable sources and the appreciation of local heritage as part of this year's Christmas actions.

“We are happy to contribute to our community, especially at such a special time as Christmas. It is a way of combining sustainability and valuing local traditions,” said Fábio Ferreira, Executive Director of Multiluz Solar.
