Sofar factory produces almost 50 GW in inverters and batteries per year

The enterprise has projects installed to test products, such as a 43 kWp carport

Inaugurated in 2022, the Sofar factory, located in Shenzhen, China, It has annual capacity de 46 GW em photovoltaic inverters e 2,8 GW em Batteries. 

In total, more than 1.300+ employees work at the enterprise, 1.500 in the office and 500 employees in the R&D (Research and Development) area. According to the company, there are more than 230 patents filed and more than 50 em process.

The company has projects installed in factory to test products. there is an rooftop project 400 kWp – with three 125 kW inverters. Per day, 1.700 kW are generated, meeting around 15% of the site's energy consumption. 

Also, there is a carport of 43 kWp – with 18 microinverters of 2 kW and six microinverters of 1 kW – and a BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) of 6,88 MW – which does the peak shaving of a testing chamber.
