A partnership between Axial e Solstice Energy was signed for the construction of one of the four DG (Distributed Generation) solar plants planned for the State of Piaui.

The plants will be installed in the municipalities of Barras, Esperantina, Valença and Palmeiras with a capacity of 4,5 MWp, totaling 18 MWp. The energy generated will be sold to the free market.

The formalization of the partnership between Axial, a Spanish company specializing in the design and manufacture of trackers, and Solstício, an EPC and EPCM company for plants in the free and captive environment, took place during Intersolar South America in August 2024.

Axial Brasil is supplying Solstício with more than 230 Axial Tracker Twin units, which support the solar panels. Using the equipment, it is possible to increase energy generation by an average of 30%.

The installation of the plants, which will occupy areas ranging from 7,3 hectares to 8,7 hectares, is expected to be completed by June. Together, the four UFVs will have more than 25,9 solar panels.
