Bold Energy announced the addition of ZNShine Solar to its portfolio of manufacturers. The partnership includes the distribution of photovoltaic modules with HJT (Heterojunction) technology, designed to increase the efficiency and reliability of solar power generation.

According to José Vitor Salm, director of Bold Energy, the initiative expands the company's technological options. "Having a leading manufacturer in our portfolio reinforces Bold's commitment to offering the best solutions on the market. HJT brings real gains in performance and reliability, generating more value for our partners and the end customer."

According to him, the HJT technology used in the modules of ZNShine Solar combines bifacial generation with high efficiency, enabling greater energy production, as well as the low temperature coefficient that maintains performance even in hotter environments.

The bifacial factor of over 90%, according to the manufacturer, allows for an increase in the amount of energy generated by taking advantage of solar incidence on both sides of the module.

"Our goal is to deliver a high-quality product, with differentiated technology, such as HJT, combined with our graphene technology, to serve and satisfy an increasingly demanding market, covering both distribution and projects of any size," said Derek Wang, Commercial Director of ZNShine Solar.

"Bold is a highly regarded company in Brazil, and ZNShine is proud to partner with us to offer our customers high-performance, high-quality products, with the goal of building a long-term relationship," he added.

Difference between HJT and TOPCon

HJT technology differs from other technologies, such as TOPCon, in its cell topology and some electrical and structural characteristics. Among the many advantages of HJT technology over TOPCon, the most notable is the increase in energy yield, which can be up to 6% higher in some regions with high irradiance and high temperatures.

The HJT cell also features a transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coating made of ITO (indium tin oxide), which prevents surface charge buildup and eliminates the risk of PID. This material also facilitates integration with perovskite cells, favoring application in tandem cells.

Another advantage is that the power degradation over 30 years is only 0,30% per year, which allows HJT modules to reach 30 years with 90,3% of their nominal power.

Advantages of graphene

ZNShine solar panels also incorporate graphene technology, whose nearly poreless glass structure promotes self-cleaning. Rainwater spreads evenly across the surface, helping to remove accumulated dirt.

Among the other characteristics of graphene photovoltaic modules, greater generation efficiency, especially in low light conditions, thanks to the capture of a broader spectrum of light, including UV radiation.

Furthermore, it offers greater resistance to scratches, corrosion, and weathering, extending the panels' durability. The photocatalytic properties also aid in the decomposition of organic residues, facilitating self-cleaning of the surface.

Presence at Intersolar

Bold Energy and ZNShine Solar are participating in Intersolar South America 2025, which will be held from August 26th to 28th at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil. Bold will be at booth W1.40 and ZNShine will be at the White Pavilion, booth W4.61.
