EDP has opened registration for the Solar Social call for proposals, which will invest up to R$650 in the installation of solar energy systems in 20 CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) located in the company's concession areas in the states of São Paulo and Espírito Santo.

Each selected institution will receive a photovoltaic system with a capacity of up to 5 kWp, which can significantly reduce electricity costs and encourage more sustainable practices.

In return, CSOs must present a project that reinvests the savings obtained in social actions, such as improvements in infrastructure or expansion of services offered.

The selection will take into account criteria such as the social impact of the projects, alignment with EDP's pillars of energy and education, management capacity, governance and technical conditions for the installation of the systems, including adequate physical space.

In addition to installing the equipment, EDP will offer training on energy efficiency, responsible consumption and maintenance of solar systems, aiming to expand organizations' knowledge on managing the energy generated.

The selection results will be announced on December 12, with project execution scheduled for 2026.
