Faced with recurring interruptions in the electricity supply, residents of various regions have sought alternatives to ensure greater stability and energy autonomy.
A recent example is a residence in the Jockey Club neighborhood of São Paulo, São Paulo, equipped with a domestic elevator that suffered frequent service failures from the local utility company. The situation led the owner to invest in a hybrid solar system with batteries.
The purpose of the installation was to ensure a continuous power supply for essential equipment—especially the elevator, which is used daily by a resident with reduced mobility, which prevents him from frequently climbing stairs.
Executed by RT Solar, a company specializing in energy solutions, the project involved several stages of analysis, planning, and electrical adaptation, resulting in a robust, intelligent, and safe installation.
The first stage of the project consisted of analyzing the residence's consumption history. Based on energy bills, an average monthly consumption of 800 kWh was identified.
Based on this diagnosis, the technical team designed a system with the capacity to generate approximately 1.100 kWh per month, ensuring a safety margin for periods of lower solar radiation or for possible peaks in consumption.
