Photovoltaic equipment distributor Go Solar in Brazil expects to reach a turnover of R$500 million by the end of 2021, the equivalent of selling 200 MW of equipment to the solar energy sector. In addition to the partnership with major inverter suppliers, such as SMA, Fronius e Solis, Go Solar is also expanding its portfolio to serve large installations with new high-power modules, from 450 to 550 watts, monofacial or bifacial from Jinko Solar e Trina Solar.
The new modules were developed to meet the needs of large installations, such as ground-based plants, which will be the main focus of the segment in the near future. “Go Solar is already anticipating this trend by entering a new market level, expanding the range of products for the next quarter,” highlights Davi Saadia, CEO of Go Solar.
Large ground-based installations, such as solar parks and solar farms, involve robust, highly energy-efficient panels. To support this growth, Go Solar will also triple the capacity of its current warehouse in April.
Last year, even with the start of the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, Go Solar managed to reach the target planned for 2020, resuming the pace of its operations from June. Go Solar is an arm of Golden, a distributor already consolidated in the IT products market, which plans to earn R$1,16 billion in 2021.
