In 2019, the photovoltaic market had a severe growth curve. Global shipments of photovoltaic inverters increased by 18% compared to 2018, reaching 126,735 MW, according to a report released by Wood Mackenzie.

Among the photovoltaic inverter manufacturers that stood out in the period is Growatt, which ranked 8th among the ten that grew the most last year. The company shipped a total capacity of more than 5 GW in the year and ranked eighth among inverter suppliers.

According to Lisa Zhang, the manufacturer's Marketing Director, Growatt has adopted a global localization strategy in recent years and for this reason has gained more space in the photovoltaic market. “Over the years, we have established 13 offices and warehouses around the world and have also built strong and experienced local teams in key markets,” said Lisa.

She also highlighted research and development actions. “In addition to our extensive service network, we have developed generation X inverters, which feature high efficiency, safety, intelligence and elegant design. These advanced photovoltaic solutions have given us additional advantages over other suppliers on the market.”

Growatt has been present in Europe for 10 years and has invested in the Brazilian market. “We founded a service center last year in Brazil and established a partnership with Aldo Solar, the largest distributor on the market” added Lisa.
