To distributor Horus Telecom and photovoltaic solutions manufacturer Canadian Solar have signed an agreement to sell inverters to the solar energy market. According to Rainey Soares, Solar Energy Product Manager at Horus, the expansion of the solar energy sector has created the need for the company to expand its inverter portfolio.
“With the significant growth of the photovoltaic segment, we highlight the need to distribute more inverters that meet the various needs requested by customers, with a very attractive cost-benefit ratio, promoting a significant increase in sales volume in the center west, where Horus is already a leader in market, and consequently, in the other regions where we operate”, highlighted Soares.
“Canadian has been investing heavily in recent years to add new products to its portfolio, such as inverters and storage systems, and is currently the only manufacturer capable of providing a complete solution for the system,” commented Alexandre Borin, Director of Inverters and Storage Systems at Canadian Solar.
According to Borin, the entire technology has been developed by Canadian Solar's R&D team in China and the USA and allows for better performance of the solution with the new TopCon and N-Type module technologies.
“Horus will drive the growth of the brand's inverters, based on our internal expertise and that of partner integrators, who are already looking for the product due to the competence of both companies, the product's after-sales guarantee and, obviously, the delivery times. delivery since Canadian has a warehouse in Brazil and we do not work with pre-sales”, concluded the Solar Energy Products manager at Horus.
