During SNEC 2025, Hoymiles welcomed a Brazilian delegation to its headquarters in Hangzhou, China, in yet another strategic step to strengthen its relationship with the Latin American photovoltaic market.

The group was made up of almost 30 executives and decision makers from ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy) and Sebrae, entities with a relevant role in the expansion of solar energy in Brazil.

During the visit, the Brazilian representatives were welcomed by Hoymiles leaders, including Guy Rong, the company's vice president; Leo Zhu, regional director for Latin America; Débora Garcez, marketing manager; Bruno Martins de Souza, sales manager in Brazil; Jessie Zhou, digital marketing manager; and André Issa, after-sales manager in Brazil.

The program included an immersion in the Hoymiles showroom and production line, as well as training sessions with the local team. Visitors were able to get a closer look at the manufacturing process of companhia, the quality control system and the structure dedicated to technological innovation.

“We see Latin America as a key pillar for our growth over the next decade, especially in today’s challenging global environment. This visit was a crucial opportunity for direct engagement with our employees and partners, helping us better understand and embrace this strategic focus,” said Guy Rong.

Representing ABSOLAR, Camila de Paula Ramos praised Hoymiles’ performance in the microinverter and storage solutions segment. “Hoymiles stands out for its reliable and adaptable solutions – exactly what Brazil’s fast-growing solar sector needs. We look forward to deepening this collaboration and jointly promoting the large-scale deployment of advanced solar technologies in the country.”

In addition to strengthening institutional relations, the visit opened up new business opportunities with Brazilian EPC companies and distributors present at the meeting. “Hoymiles reinforced its commitment to expanding investments and consolidating its presence in Latin America, with a special focus on Brazil,” concluded the vice president.

“Accompany the delegation of ABSOLAR from Shanghai to Hangzhou was an enriching and strategic experience. This visit reinforces how essential it is to strengthen ties between Hoymiles and the Brazilian market, pointed out Debora Garcez.

“Working alongside the main representatives of the solar energy sector in Brazil, and getting to know our headquarters and factory in China up close, allows us to better understand local expectations and needs. This strengthens our mission to build closer, culturally aligned communication focused on offering real solutions to the integrators and distributors who trust Hoymiles every day,” he stressed.

Lorena Roosevelt, manager of the Sebrae Renewable Energy Hub, also commented on the visit and highlighted that the technical mission organized by Sebrae and ABSOLAR aimed to bring Brazilian entrepreneurs closer to the main innovations and trends in the global photovoltaic market.

“The visit to Hoymiles was one of the highlights, highlighting the company’s investment in technology for safety, efficiency and management of the electrical grid. It was clear how the Chinese industry has evolved rapidly, with a focus on artificial intelligence, customization of solutions and adaptation to different consumption and climate realities around the world,” he highlighted.

“Changes in the Brazilian market, particularly the advancement of the free energy market and the growing demand for storage, reinforce the importance of small businesses updating themselves, diversifying their portfolios and seeking new knowledge and partnerships. Sebrae continues to support these entrepreneurs in building a more competitive and sustainable production chain,” concluded Roosevelt.
