A Hypontech announced that, once again, it was awarded as “Top Brand PV Brazil 2024" through the EUPD Research and launched a single-phase on-grid inverter – the HPS PRO 3-6K.
According to the company, the product has maximum efficiency of 98,1% and maximum overload of 150% at DC, providing greater flexibility in system design and operation.
“A lower startup voltage, 40 V, means that the HPT PRO can start operating earlier during the day and continue working until late at night, capturing more energy from the Sun”, highlighted the manufacturer.
“The equipment’s shadow scanning algorithm continuously monitors the IR curves of each solar panel in the system. When shadows are detected, HPS PRO dynamically adjusts its operating parameters to optimize energy generation, minimizing electricity losses and maximizing overall electricity production,” they highlighted.

Other features
The solution also has integrated AFCI technology, type II SPD on the AC and DC sides and anti-reversal protection. “HPS PRO prevents or restricts the flow of energy back into the grid. This feature protects against adverse effects resulting from electrical failures, for example, ensuring the stability and reliability of the plant,” stated the company.
Another feature emphasized by Hypontch is continuous real-time monitoring of the solar plant, as well as remote update services, enabling firmware updates during nighttime periods of low load. “This avoids downtime during peak generation during the day, minimizing the impact on energy production and maximizing efficiency and profitability”, they highlighted.
“HPS PRO also integrates perfectly with Hypon.Cloud, Hypontech’s proprietary monitoring platform. This comprehensive connectivity allows users to monitor and manage inverter performance, including generation, power and temperature, from any electronic device, such as smartphones, computers or tablets”, concluded the company.

For a purchase with current technology, what type of board and what type of inverter should be requested?
If they are really good, they must urgently enter the hybrids, because according to technological and feasibility studies, ON GRID inverters should no longer be sold by 2025, given that hybrids have little difference in price and a lot of difference in technology and several gains, from zero grid to total control of BESS, PEAK TIME ETC... Of course, in the hybrid system the batteries still weigh a little, but it can be a salad without batteries, avoiding unnecessary retrofits in about 3 to 4 years...
In the event of a network outage, some maintain backup only with modules, not requiring batteries
