CanalSolar Intersolar registers 50 participants in its 10th edition
The next edition of The smarter E South America takes place between August 27th and 29th, 2024

The 10th anniversary of Intersolar South America Fair and Congress was attended by more than 50 thousand visitors, of which 2,5 thousand participated in congresses.

The information comes from Solar Promotion International GmbH, Freiburg Management and Marketing International GmbH and Aranda Eventos & Congressos, organizers of the event.

“The figures show that Brazil is on its way to being a major player in the renewable energy market. The event itself is an indication of the consolidation and growth of the market”, informed the organizers.

The smarter E South America – which integrates Intersolar South America, ees South America and Eletrotec+EM-Power South America – brought together more than 530 exhibitors from the photovoltaic, storage and electrical infrastructure sectors, who presented their innovations at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP).

“The Brazilian market is the fourth largest in the world in terms of power added in the last year and is in the TOP 10 of nations with the largest installed capacity of photovoltaic technology, whether in large plants or in small distributed generation systems,” said Ronaldo Koloszuk, president of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association).

Sauaia also added that solar energy is the most competitive renewable source in the country and a lever for social, economic and environmental development, generating jobs and income, attracting investments, diversifying the electrical matrix and systemic benefits for all citizens.

“The growth of solar energy strengthens sustainability, relieves family budgets and increases the competitiveness of Brazilian productive sectors, factors that are increasingly important for the national economy and for fulfilling the environmental commitments assumed by the country”, he concluded.

New things next year

Since 2021 the ees South America presents the Power2Drive Special Show, with innovations in charging solutions, battery concepts and business models for sustainable electric mobility. Many exhibitors brought their cars and light vehicles such as scooters, motorcycles and others to the pavilions.

The interest of visitors was one of the factors that stimulated the introduction of a new fair in 2024, Power2Drive South America. The announcement was made by Florian Wessendorf, managing director of Solar Promotion International GmbH.

“In 2024 we will have four pillars at The smarter E South America: solar generation, batteries and storage systems, energy management and electric mobility. We are going to launch Power2Drive, which will have the fair, conferences and technical workshops”, anticipated Wessendorf.

A next edition from The smarter E South America takes place between the days August 27 and 29, 2024.
