Leveros, through its shareholding holding company, invested R$10 million in web.art group, a company specialized in offering e-commerce solutions.
According to the group, the operation aims to combine expertise for both businesses, enhancing their operations and strategies. With the move, the group will have a minority stake and the right to a seat on the company's Board of Directors.
Currently, the group operates in the refrigeration and air conditioning segment and, in 2019, began distributing solar energy equipment and, more recently, launched a platform for the development of service providers.
With its headquarters established in Assis (SP), Leveros has five of its own stores, one of which is in the city of headquarters and the others in Araçatuba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto and in the capital of São Paulo.
The company also has two franchises, in Salvador (BA) and Itapema (SC), and is already preparing for the opening of the third unit in this model, in Fortaleza (CE), in 2023. In two years, the projection is to be present in the main Brazilian capitals.
The web.art group, created in 2006, in Birigui (SP), develops technologies and services for online sales. With nationwide operations, the company recorded a 60% increase in revenue last year and expanded its customer base by 25%.
Among the changes in the web.art group, based on Leveros' contribution, are the strengthening of the internal technology team and the creation of an IT department focused on governance and structuring scalability.
“Our participation in the company will generate gains from both a strategic and operational perspective. We will once again expand the diversification of our company’s operations. We also hope to absorb a lot of knowledge from the web.art group to generate more agility and security in our virtual operations. In addition, we will increasingly invest in the integration of physical and digital stores,” highlights the CEO of Grupo Leveros, Tiziano Pravato Filho.
Tiziano also clarifies that the companies' operations will remain autonomous and independent. He also says that the co-creation of a B2B2C (Business-To-Business-To-Consumer) sales platform is planned for this year.
Edmilson Maleski, CEO of web.art group, highlights that for the company the investment will promote strategic improvement with corporate governance work, in addition to providing the opportunity to hire market executives with a background to accelerate the growth curve.
“The company has evolved rapidly in recent years, not only in revenue, but also in its collaborative framework. We see this partnership not only as a strategic issue, aiming to accelerate the evolution of our products, but also to create a more solid foundation for our employees”, he adds.
