The Luz para Todos Program will receive R$423,9 million to expand access to electricity in isolated communities in Acre and Rondônia, benefiting almost 12 families and small businesses.

In Acre, R$250 million will be allocated to guarantee the uninterrupted supply of energy to around a thousand units. In Rondônia, the investment will be R$173,9 million to bring solar systems with batteries to another six thousand families.

According to the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy), these actions reinforce the program's commitment to energy inclusion in rural and Amazonian areas, prioritizing clean, stable, and sustainable solutions, primarily through the use of photovoltaic systems.

The new investments, which are part of the New PAC, add to a history of results that dates back to 2003. Since then, Luz para Todos has benefited 280 residents of Acre and 430 residents of Rondônia — the equivalent of almost a third and a quarter of these state populations, respectively.

Created in 2003 and relaunched in 2023 after a period of discontinuation, the program aims to universalize access to electricity in the country, bringing electricity to families living in remote or hard-to-reach areas.

In addition to the expansion of the program, the MME reported the inauguration of two new Energisa substations, located in Feijó, Cruzeiro do Sul and Tarauacá, which total R$190 million in investments and will benefit around 70 thousand people.
