Ludfor, a renewable energy solutions company, and GEBRAS, a company specializing in engineering and energy projects, have formalized the formation of a new partnership to implement a solar plant in Pelotas (RS).
The project, which will be connected to the Equatorial CEEE grid, will have 3,15 MWp and a generation capacity of over 4,3 million kWh per year — enough to supply around 2,5 homes annually.
In addition to contributing to the expansion of the state's clean energy matrix, the plant will prevent the emission of approximately 1.735 tons of CO₂ per year, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestration promoted by more than 86 trees.
The construction of the project is part of the a joint venture signed in 2024 between Ludfor and GEBRAS, focusing on offering integrated solutions in the areas of engineering, regulation, and sustainability. The new plant is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
