Over the next 15 days, the north-central region of Minas Gerais, the state of Bahia and the south-central region of Piauí will experience days with high solar incidence, high temperatures and little cloud cover. This is the forecast from Climatempo, a company specializing in meteorology.
According to the company, such weather conditions favor an increase in the region's solar generation potential. However, Climatempo does not rule out the risk of isolated rain showers, especially in the afternoon.
The company also analyzes that the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone has been responsible for the increase in cloudiness and heavy rainfall on the northern coast of the Northeast, resulting in a low potential for solar generation in the region.

“In mid-March, the climate scenario begins to change. The cloudiness and maximum rainfall gradually move towards the north center of the country, which will reduce the incidence of solar radiation on the surface and will impact a low solar potential in the main generation areas”, adds Climatempo.
