Renovigi Energia Solar, a manufacturer of photovoltaic systems, has signed an agreement with Vendemmia for the complete logistics management of its unit in Itajaí (SC), where it has a DC (Distribution Center). According to Leonardo Hagen, Renovigi's Operations Director, the objective of the partnership is to increase competitiveness and enhance quality in all processes of the logistics chain, with performance optimization and greater focus on strategic activities.

“In this partnership, Vendemmia becomes the operator responsible for the management and storage of our products, from receiving, checking, labeling, addressing, separating and moving components”, he states.

“The implementation of this project brings greater robustness, efficiency and greater precision in inventory management with cutting-edge technology and resources”, adds Hagen.

“With the Vendemmia Analytics platform, our customers can monitor all stages of the logistics process in real time, from collection at the supplier to our customers’ doorstep. Renovigi and its accredited partners will have real-time visibility and information to make the best strategic decisions for their business,” explains Maurício Leonel, Business Director at Vendemmia and one of those responsible for the contract.

“It will also be possible to monitor all stages of the process, from the receipt of goods, inspection, storage, separation of components and dispatch of photovoltaic generators, examples of information made available. In addition, performance indicators and service levels will be generated to ensure the expected results”, adds Leonel.

“With stock management through a WMS (Warehouse Management System), control operations for our products and components become more effective, in addition to ensuring greater accuracy of our stocks”, highlights Christian Bernhardt , Supplies and Supply Chain Manager at Renovigi.

According to Renovigi's Operations Director, the project was designed to support Renovigi's growth plan over the coming years. In the second half of the year, the company plans to open a third unit in the Northeast. The contract will initially last 60 months and will have an average monthly movement volume of more than 8 components and 4,6 photovoltaic generators.

The fleet comprises 150 vehicles, occupying an area of 3 thousand m² at the Vendemmia CD, in Navegantes (SC). The area is strategically located between the ports of Navegantes and Itajaí, facilitating the flow of products.

Vendemmia has been operating in the solar energy sector since 2017. “The current scenario shows us how important it is to expand the supply of other types of energy in the Brazilian energy matrix. The country has enormous potential to be a leader in this photovoltaic segment. Our experience and expertise as a logistics operator allows us to operate with quality and knowledge, helping our customers to collaborate in the construction of a more sustainable energy matrix”, highlights Leonel.

In addition to Itajaí, Renovigi has a Distribution Center in Louveira (SP) and sells its photovoltaic systems throughout the country, serving everything from homes and businesses to agricultural enterprises. The company has a network of 9 accredited partners and recently opened an office in downtown Itajaí, which will function as an administrative center and import department.
