We've arrived once again at the traditional period for retrospectives, and 2025 has certainly entered the list of the most intense years of the last decade for the electricity sector and electromobility, marked by heated debates and impactful decisions.

Last year brought advancements in technology and sustainability, such as the strengthening of storage systems and the arrival of new models and electric vehicle factories...in addition to historical milestones, including the first COP (Climate Conference) held in Brazil.

At the same time, the year was also marked by significant challenges, such as discussions about generation cuts, provisional measures, and regulatory tensions that mobilized companies, governments, and professionals in the sector.

In this special retrospective, we review some of the events that shaped the year, projecting the next steps for a sector that continues to undergo significant transformation.
