“The initiative is very relevant for the region, and we are proud to be part of this process that brings clean energy and professional training to local communities,” highlighted Ramon Nuche, director of AE Solar in Brazil.

“We want to take this model to the central region of Rio de Janeiro, which is a very important region for the city and has the presence of many low-income communities that suffer a lot from heat islands and expensive, poor-quality energy,” he highlighted. Eduardo Ávila, Executive Director of Revolusolar.

“With this Circo Solar project we intend to mobilize energy companies in the Center and make this the first step in the construction of a solar neighborhood in the central region of Rio de Janeiro, in public health and cultural facilities and in low-lying communities. income,” he added.

“In this project, in the area of professional training, we will train 17 residents of low-income communities mainly around Morro de São Carlos as solar energy installers.
