Solar Group reaches 1 GW of solar energy structures on rooftops in the country

Aiming to meet the growth in orders, Solar Group opened its second factory

Solar Group, specialized in fixing systems for the solar energy market, reached 1 GW sold in structures for distributed generation on roofs and slabs throughout the Brazilian territory. At an accelerated pace of growth, the company had an increase of approximately 140% in business volume in the country in the first six months of this year, compared to the same period last year.

Aiming to meet the growth in orders, Solar Group opened its second manufacturing unit, located in the city of Santana do Parnaíba (SP), with investments of around R$19 million. Ronaldo Kolozuk, the organization's commercial director, highlighted the company's participation in Brazilian photovoltaic projects.

“Achieving the first GW in distributed solar generation structures is, at the same time, a source of great pride and reflects the process of 'tropicalization' of the technology and products we developed based on the best photovoltaic projects around the world”, he commented.

With the inauguration of the structure, the company plans to end this year with a 215% increase in business volume compared to last year. “Our efforts are always directed towards expanding operations and ensuring excellence in service to market players”, stated Koloszuk.

The new factory has four times the capacity of the assembly line located in Itapevi (SP). It will serve the domestic and Latin American markets for photovoltaic solar energy in distributed generation, which includes systems installed in homes, businesses, industries, rural properties and public buildings.
