Aiming for energy efficiency, the Aldeia Praia Park, a water park located in the city of Correntina, western Bahia, is installing a 491 kWp carport.

The system, in operation for six months, has 1.080 455 Wp bifacial modules from Jinko Solar and three 120 kW inverters by GoodWe.

According to Herykson Saraiva, business coordinator at Loop Energia, responsible for the project, the monthly savings are estimated at 60 thousand kWh, equivalent to BRL 40 thousand.

“The plant brings an increase in load not supplied by the concessionaire, bringing safety, efficiency and savings in diesel consumption during the day. Therefore, when they need a load, turning on the pool pumps, the system will deliver completely safe energy”, he explained.

According to him, this is a project designed for a sustainable parking lot for more than 120 cars, based on wood and a hot-dip galvanized steel structure.

“The smart grid project has automation with Deif controllers, where we have the junction of the grid + solar + 300 kVA diesel generator, with batteries expected to be included in the coming years”, emphasized Saraiva.

“Therefore, the entire system is automated, it also has fiber optic communication and Loop Energia engineering coordinated by directors Bruno Cezar and Luvanio Lopes”, he concluded.
