BYD's Energy Pod battery bank is designed and engineered for residential use.

The product uses LFP technology (cobalt-free), with high performance and long service life.

Due to its modular feature, the system capacity can be expanded smoothly, with easy installation of new units.

Basically, the system can be used for solar energy storage, demand fulfillment, scheduled energy dispatch and emergency power supply (off-grid), among other applications.

The system is fully upgraded based on the first generation of MiniES products, to meet the diverse needs of customers around the world.

Main features

  • All-in-one design: the battery, PCS (power control system) and BMS (battery management system) are highly integrated, and there is no external cable connection between the structures to effectively protect user safety and reduce installation cost ;
  • Modular design: flexible capacity solution, from 7,2 kWh to 14,4 kWh;
  • Capacity can be expanded smoothly to meet the needs of families in different periods;
  • Wireless controllable: support wireless control, support VPP (virtual power plant);
  • Easy installation: each module weighs around 30 kg and can be installed by a single person;
  • Warranty of up to ten years (consult your local supplier).

    Hi Daniel. I have a 7 kwp on-grid system already installed and in operation for several years. How do I transform it into a hybrid system using this battery bank? How many hours does it provide energy for an average monthly consumption of 700 kWh?
    How much?
    Thank you

    Single-phase 50hz, not applicable in Brazil as it is, it will need to be adapted to 60hz and preferably two-phase to be able to access large markets like SP.

    Damn man, I've seen so much talk about these batteries but they don't say the price!!!!!!!!!
    I use a lithium battery (LIFEPO160) on my CG FAN 4 motorcycle, lithium iron phosphate 2000 cycle counts 150 lead acid cycle: Value 225,00 against 160,00 for lead acid

    Can you tell me if BYD directly provides this solution?
    Do you have more technical details about the solution?
    We have a national hybrid inverter and we want to integrate it with HV lithium batteries
